Fantastic psychonauts 2 is still a bit better now: With a new update, Double Fine adds a few comfort functions to the game, which clearly fall under the Quality of Life category. The improvements are aimed at players who have already experienced the end of the story and now try to take everything that the game world has to offer. Above all, the update makes you easier to pick out success and gather hidden items like tears or psi cards.

As soon as you played the main story, a new OTTO spot filter for your camera is unlocked, which you can then buy any machine. The filter costs only 75 psitanium and has a practical function: If you use it in photom mode, hard-visible collection objects are highlighted in the area in color. This can make your tear-pictures even from a great distance. In the quick trip menu, Green check marks show whether you have found all collection objects in a level section. So you would not have to scan the complete level in the future, but can gradually work towards the 100 percent. As soon as you have completed the side quest of GISU, a fourth psychosismometer is unlocked in Otto s laboratory. There you can deny any number of fighting, the opponents are chosen random. So you can also master the successes for which your specific opponents have to defeat.
